Internships at BLINK are about getting close to the work and to the team.

“For us, it’s really about giving back to the design community,” shares Pimjai, our HR Director.

“We love mentoring the next generation of designers; they bring such fresh energy into the studio.”

Over the past few months, it has been a pleasure welcoming B Hawng Nan Sham and aqeelah hani into the studio and seeing them contribute to the day-to-day of hospitality design, from process and creativity to the many small decisions that shape a guest experience.

Reflecting on their growth, Pimjai adds, “The best part is definitely seeing them evolve. They usually start a bit shy but watching them confidently work on luxury hotel projects is so rewarding. Plus, having that raw curiosity around the office really lifts the whole studio vibe.”

We are also delighted to welcome our current intern, Louisa Roovers, who is joining us in Bangkok from the Netherlands.

“I am already two months into my internship, but it feels like I started yesterday… It is very interesting to see how large projects are handled. So far, I have worked on a variety of assignments, such as sketching, attending material meetings, and selecting the right materials.”

Louisa adds, “I am really looking forward to the next two months, and I am curious to see what else I will learn at BLINK.”
