British architect Sir Norman Foster designed Capella Singapore but it was Jaya Ibrahim’s imaginative interior design that gracefully unified the stately resort with a scheme anchored in the British Colonial era. Through the careful balancing of new and historic design elements, timeless materials and fine craftsmanship, the luxury hotel’s clean, contemporary design was underscored by Asian motifs to fulfill the vision of a Colonial style seen through modern eyes.
