With walls clad in subtly gold-brushed washi paper, headboards upholstered in intricately patterned nishijin-ori silk, and suite interiors accented with kyo-karakami woodblock prints, local crafts take center stage at Roku Kyoto.
Opened in September 2021 in the forested hills of the Takagamine district on the northern fringe of town (within walking distance from the famous Kinkakuji Golden Pavilion), this first Asian outpost of Hilton’s LXR brand is a celebration of local artisanship throughout the centuries.
